Performance Task-GRASPS

Goal- The goal is to label the phases of the moon, describe how the earth’s movements cause day/night and the seasons, and label the position of each planet in our Solar System from the Sun.

Role-You have been selected by NASA to create a training brochure for new NASA employees featuring our Solar System.

Audience-Your target audience is the new NASA employees.

Situation- The challenge involves designing and carefully laying out the design of the brochure. The brochure should include the phases of the moon, the movement of the earth around the sun, and a diagram of the planets in our Solar System.

Product/Performance- You will create a brochure that you must illustrate and label the phases of the moon, illustrate and describe how the earth’s movements cause day/night and the seasons, and illustrate and label the position of each planet in our Solar System from the Sun.  The brochure must also include a creative design.  The brochure should be fully annotated and labeled.
